The Welsh Assembly Government has published its response to Dame Carol Black's review of the health of Britain's working age population, 'Working for a healthier tomorrow'.

It analyses the current health status of Britain’s working age population and recommendations to consider in developing an approach to improve health and work in Wales. It welcomes the recommendations on raising awareness of the health benefits of work and the greater engagement of health professionals, especially general practitioners in this agenda.

This response from the Welsh Assembly Government outlines current and new work in Wales which addresses the recommendations set out in Carol Black’s review.
