Housing and community
Housing and community regeneration is central to improving the lives of the people of Wales, particularly those from the most disadvantaged communities.

Everybody wants to live in a nice home in a safe place.

Poor housing often causes community problems because people become unhappy and do not feel safe. Situations and tensions can get worse very quickly. Good housing can help families and everybody in the community get on together.

We want to look at the approach towards the provision, maintenance and allocation of housing and to give advice on the role which housing can play in improving communities.
