Regulatory Code for Housing Associations Registered in Wales

This Code sets out:

• Key expectations - which set out how the Assembly expects housing associations to operate in the identified areas;
• What we will look for - which outlines the kind of evidence that the Assembly will look for to demonstrate that associations are following the Code;
• How we will assess whether associations are meeting the key expectations - which outlines how the Assembly will assess whether associations are following the Code.

This Code is intended to allow innovation and responsiveness to local circumstances. It focuses as far as possible on outcomes not processes to allow associations to achieve objectives in the way most suitable to them and their customers.
