The Welsh Government is inviting applications through an open competitive process to establish a Public Policy Institute for Wales.

Date for submission of applications: 16/11/2012

The invitation seeks bids from a wide range of interested parties, which might include think tanks, research institutes and Higher Education, but is not exclusive to these bodies.

A number of potential applicants registered their interest at a pre-bidding conference held on the 26 September 2012. Applications are not limited to this group.

Full details of the proposed Institute, invitation letter and application form can be downloaded below.

Queries can be addressed to strategicpolicyunit@wales.gsi.gov.uk. The queries and the relevant response will be published on this website.

Following the application and assessment process a successful bidder is expected to be appointed to run the Institute from February 2013.

The Public Policy Institute is a Programme for Government commitment.
