EU Budget and Structural Funds - A European Commission Consultation

The European Union has recently published its Budget Review paper that outlines the broad principles that underpin the EU Budget for the period after 2013. This includes ideas for the two main expenditure areas - Structural Funds and the Common Agricultural Policy.

It went on to publish its 5th Cohesion Report which describes progress made with the help of EU structural funds and proposes some options for the future. This report marked the start of a consultation period lasting until the 31st January 2011.

We would encourage Welsh stakeholders to feed in their views.
