The Regulations require each local authority to establish a crime and disorder committee to scrutinise community safety issues.

The Minister for Social Justice and Local Government has issued this statutory guidance, plus amendment. This supports The Crime and Disorder (Overview and Scrutiny) Regulations 2009 as amended by The Crime and Disorder (Overview and Scrutiny) (Amendment) Regulations 2010.
