A leaflet explaining the Welsh Planning Review Call for Evidence.

An Independent Advisory Group has been set up to do this review and advise how to deliver the planning system of the future. The Group is made up from representatives with extensive planning experience from business, local government, planning law, community participation and the environment. They are not part of government and are free to investigate issues they consider to be important.

The Group is now asking for your thoughts about how planning works now and how it could be better. They are calling this the Call for Evidence. The Group wants facts and information to support people’s ideas for improvement. Though not all ideas will be part of the final Planning Act, the Group welcomes any suggestions that will make planning easier to understand and use.
