The latest bulletins on the economy and labour market by economic region in Wales, produced by the Welsh Assembly Government, were released on 30 December 2010 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

The bulletin includes latest information from a range of sources and covers a variety of time periods. The bulletin will update the statistics previously released on 30 November 2010.

The latest release includes new data for:

  • Claimant Count (November 2010)
  • Jobcentre vacancies (November 2010)
  • Employment, unemployment and economic inactivity levels and rates (Year to June 2010)
  • Gross Value Added (GVA) (2008)
  • Average gross weekly earnings (2010)
  • VAT/PAYE enterprise births, deaths and stock (2009)

A summary report is available on the StatsWales website showing data that is available by Local Authority.
