The latest bulletins on the economy and labour market by economic region in Wales, produced by the Welsh Assembly Government, were released on 31 March 2011 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

The bulletin includes latest information from a range of sources and covers a variety of time periods. The bulletin will update the statistics previously released on 28 February 2011.

The latest release includes new data for:

  • Claimant Count (February 2011)
  • Jobcentre vacancies (February 2011)
  • Employment, unemployment and economic inactivity levels and rates (Year to September 2010)
  • Benefit claimants (August 2010)
  • Gross Disposable Household Income (2009)

A summary report is available on the StatsWales website showing data that is available by Local Authority.

We welcome feedback on the bulletins as well as any of our other outputs.
