The latest bulletins on the economy and labour market by economic region in Wales, produced by the Welsh Government, were released on 30 August 2012 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

The bulletin includes latest information from a range of sources and covers a variety of time periods. The bulletin will update the statistics previously released on 31 July 2012.

The latest release includes new data for:

  • Claimant Count (July 2012)
  • Jobcentre Vacancies (July 2012)
  • Benefit Claimants (February 2012)

A user guide has been produced for the regional profiles which can be found under methodology documents on our website; along with a summary report is available on the StatsWales website showing data that is available by Local Authority.

We welcome feedback on the bulletins as well as any of our other outputs.
