The latest set of four bulletins on the economy and labour market by economic region in Wales, produced by the Welsh Government, were released on 28 February 2013 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

The bulletin includes latest information from a range of sources and covers a variety of time periods. The bulletin will update the statistics previously released on 31 January 2013.

The latest release includes new data for:

  • claimant Count (January 2013)
  • benefit claimants (May 2012)

A user guide has been produced for the regional profiles which can be found under methodology documents on our website.

We welcome feedback on the bulletins as well as any of our other outputs.
