Statistics on GP Referrals received at Welsh NHS Trusts for a first out-patient appointment include data for Wales for the period July 2008 to July 2009. The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 5 August 2009.

• The number of GP Referrals for a first out-patient appointment received at Welsh NHS Trusts was 66,463 in July 2009.
• This is a 7.3% increase compared to July 2008 and a 0.3% increase compared to June 2009.

All figures relating to July 2009 are provisional.
