Service Settings and Places Regulated by Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), 30 June 2011

The statistics on regulated settings and places are at local authority level by setting type and include data for Wales at quarterly intervals, from 31 March 2009 to 30 June 2011.

The information will be published in line with protocols on publishing official statistics and be available on StatsWales, the Welsh Government’s data dissemination tool.

The key points from the latest release are:

• 6,250 settings and services were regulated by CSSIW at 30 June 2011, an increase of 25 (less than one percent) from 6,230 settings and services at 31 March 2011.
• 104,770 places were registered with CSSIW at 30 June 2011, a small increase of 670 places since the end of previous quarter.
