Service Settings and Places Regulated by Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), 30 June 2012

The statistics on regulated settings and places are at local authority level by setting type and include data for Wales at quarterly intervals, from 31 March 2011 to 30 June 2012.

The information is published in line with protocols on publishing official statistics and will be available on StatsWales, the Welsh Government’s data dissemination tool.

The key points from the latest release are:

• 6,170 service settings were regulated by CSSIW at 30 June 2012, a decrease of 20 (less than one percent) from 6,195 service settings at 31 March 2012.
• 104,235 places were registered with CSSIW at 30 June 2012, a decrease of 555 places since the end of previous quarter.
