Right to Buy Sales, July to September 2004

• There were 1,760 RTB claims during the July to September quarter 2004, around 340 less than the July to September 2003 figure of 2,100.
• The level of claims is gradually falling back to the level before the recent "surge". There were around 1,400 claims during the same quarter in 2000 and around 1,600 in 2001.
• There were 1,180 completed RTB sales during the July to September quarter 2004, 670 less than a year earlier.
