Publication of this release has been brought forward from the pre-announced month of September to 16 August 2011.

UK Statistics Authority Website The Chief Statistician has made this decision because we anticipate that with improvements to data collection methods the data will be available and ready for publication sooner than planned. This release will be published alongside the 'National Curriculum Assessments of 7, 11 and 14 year olds: Wales, 2011' release.
