Examination Results, 2010/11

Statistics on Examination Results include data for Wales for the period 2001/02 to 2010/11.  The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 6 October 2011.

15 year olds

• 67 per cent achieved the Level 2 threshold, 4 percentage points higher than in 2009/10;
• The average wider points score was 423, 29 points higher than in 2009/10.

17 year olds

• 96 per cent of those entering a volume equivalent to 2 A levels achieved the Level 3 threshold, 1 percentage point higher than in 2009/10.
