Examination Results, 2011/12

Statistics on Examination Results include data for Wales for the period 2001/02 to 2011/12.  The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 4 October 2012.

15 year olds

• 72.6 per cent achieved the Level 2 threshold, 5.3 percentage points higher than in 2010/11;
• The average wider points score was 465, 42 points higher than in 2010/11.
  17 year olds
• 96.9 per cent of those entering a volume equivalent to 2 A levels achieved the Level 3 threshold, 0.6 percentage points higher than in 2010/11.
