Welsh Transport Statistics – Announcement

The way that we release compendium information about travel and transport in Wales will change from a series of chapters in a publication to a series of topic-based Statistical Bulletins.

UK Statistics Authority website This change is being made in order to include more commentary about each topic, in line with recommendations of the United Kingdom Statistics Authority for improving transport statistics. These Statistical Bulletins will include tables previously included in the publication chapters.

The change will first take place for 'Welsh Transport Statistics, 2011 - Chapter 6: Personal Travel', which is due to be published on 20 March 2012. This will now be released as a Statistical Bulletin.
