Information and Communication Technology (ICT) diagnostic

Are you using Information Communication Technology (ICT) to maximum benefit in your business? Would you like to increase your visibility to customers, improve the use of customer information and streamline working practices to increase your profitability or save you time? Are you confident that your records are robust and secure and that your business is safeguarded against e-crime?

If you’re looking to grow your businesses through the development of ICT, you may be eligible for our free health check of your business’ use of ICT (computers, websites, social media, telephony equipment etc) worth over £700, available free to 750 eligible tourism businesses in total.  

Don’t miss out; 592 tourism businesses (including potential competitors) have already received a review and there are only 158 still available (as at 07 May 2013). 

 

An eligible business will be able to demonstrate that it meets the criteria:

• Is an existing tourism business which, currently and independently attracts tourists and has capacity for growing visitor numbers 
• Has a minimum capability and knowledge of ICT within the business 
• Has ability to adopt learning/recommendations resulting from any diagnostic 
• Is within the European definition of a Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Wales 65% convergence area and State Aid funding limits. a map of the convergence areas in Wales is available on the WEFO website. A definition of small and medium sized enterprises can be found on the European Commission website
• Meets appropriate grading/quality assurance standards for the sector, where such exist. Please click on the related link to the right, which will take you to our grading information. 
• Has not received similar support within the last two years. 
• And, where it is deemed by the delivering team that the business would not be better serviced through alternative support mechanisms
