Promoting your business online

We promote tourism in Wales via a number of websites connected to a searchable product database. This database holds product details of events, attractions, activities and accommodation. If you are part of our star grading schemes, your product details are distributed to a number of online channels and databases via the National Tourism Open Platform (NTOP) run by VisitBritain. In addition to appearing on all Visit Wales websites, your details will also be published worldwide through regional, national and international websites.

You can easily update your product details that appear online. You need to contact Guestlink Cymru, or if your business is based in any of the following areas within South East Wales, then you’ll need to contact Cariad.

• Cardiff 
• Vale of Glamorgan 
• Rhondda Cynnon Taf 
• Merthyr Tydfil 
• Caerphilly 
• Torfaen 
• Blaenau Gwent

Once updated, your details are then forwarded to NTOP for onward distribution to online channels.
