Public Transport Users Committee for Wales

This consultation deals with proposals for a single, influential body that will bring together the interests of everyone who uses buses, trains, community transport, taxis, ferries and aeroplanes.

The Committee is established by legislation.

The Transport (Wales) Act 2006 gave Welsh Ministers the power to set up the Committee and following a public consultation the Public Transport Users' Committee for Wales (Establishment) Order 2009 was passed which sets out the membership and constitution of the Public Transport Users' Committee for Wales.
