The Minister for Education and Skills, Leighton Andrews AM, opened the Welsh Language, Technology and Digital Media Seminar with a key note speech on his vision for the Welsh Langauge and Technology.

A seminar was held in Cardiff 21 June 2012 looking at the Welsh Language, Technology and Digital Media.

The event was an opportunity to discuss how technology can be harnessed to promote Welsh and how more digital content can be made available in the language.

The event was opened by the Minister for Education and Skills, Leighton Andrews AM who said:

"New developments in media and technology and digital content need to be available in Welsh if the language is to be seen as a modern and living language."
